How do you test a horn?
Posted on June 27, 2008
Seriously, how do YOU perform testing when the repair order just handed to you says the
horn is inoperative?
Do you have a set routine, or do you simply choose where you want to
start this time? Have you ever really thought much about it that all
diagnostics should follow the same routine no matter how simple they
may appear to be at first, or how complex you are sure it’s going to
be?

Defensive Driving - What Does It Mean?
Posted on June 27, 2008
Unfortunately, more and more drivers don’t want to become defensive drivers nowadays which increases chances of accidents related to driving and cars. This is something not only confined in a single locality, community, state or country as this is rather a global phenomenon.
Driving should be something fun and safe and not scary and dangerous if we only practice simple things relating to defensive driving. These things are not so hard to do as they are merely matters of routine and discipline. Defensive driving is a matter of practice too as with other skills we acquire.

Buying Auto Parts At The Right Price Is Easier Said Than Done
Posted on June 27, 2008
When you need auto parts there is no reason to pay more that you should. Here are some interesting ways to help you save some money.
Taking your car to the shop is an expensive endeavor. Not only do the shops charge you the prices of the auto parts that they need for the vehicle at inflated prices, but they also charge inflated prices for the actual cost of the labor itself and make a huge profit in the process. Instead of dealing with this, consider purchasing your car parts and having the work done by someone else or doing it yourself. While this does have its drawbacks, with careful work or a trustworthy friend who knows about cars, you can buy the parts and pay a flat fee for the work done to the vehicle. This can save you a great deal of money that hiring a professional for the job might otherwise cost.

Posted on June 27, 2008
Currently, there is a feeling of real doom and gloom hanging over the logistics industry. On top of pretty much everyone feelking a financial pinch, a survey on our site has revealed that over half of our members are working in excess of 60 hours per week - it’s no wonder there’s a hankering for the ‘good old days’ of haulage. But was taking a backload then really any better?

Motorhomes Drive Holiday Dreams Of Many Americans!
Posted on June 25, 2008
Motorhomes used in America, come in all shapes and sizes, from small to huge but most in-between. Many motorhomes are household names, and tens of thousands of these vehicles are manufactured each year. Some high end motorhome dealers may only make a handful each year, but the starting price for these luxury motorhomes is around half-million dollars.
Before making the commitment to buy a motorhome it is a really good idea to rent one first to see that you do indeed like the idea of owning a motorhome, and secondly to see if it is the type you would like to purchase. It is important when you buy your motorhome that it displays the oval RVIA sticker which means that it has met the high standards of the industry.

How To Properly Test Drive A Vehicle
Posted on June 25, 2008
It doesn’t matter where you found the car, whether at a Dealership or from a private seller, the time will come when you need to drive the car with a critical eye, ear and feel. And you may not be totally comfortable with the prospect of doing a “test drive” because it’s obviously something most people don’t have to do very often.
So let’s do a trial run here. Some of this may seem painfully obvious, but you may be surprised by what many car buyers forget to do when in the heat of the buying process. So, try to stay calm and cool. You may even want to do a dry run on your own car first just to help the learning (or remembering) process.
